Commander: Deadpool, Trading Card

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos clone-and-aristocrats deck helmed by Deadpool, Trading Card, built around exchanging text boxes to steal elite abilities, dump Deadpool's upkeep life-loss onto opposing bodies, and then multiplying whatever is best on board. The 99 backs that plan with a dense suite of token-copy effects (Splinter Twin, Twinflame, Helm of the Host, Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Delina, Wild Mage, The Fire Crystal), sacrifice outlets, and drain payoffs (Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER). Primary wins are infinite hasty tokens via Dualcaster Mage plus a copy-sorcery, aristocrats loops with Ashnod's Altar and Pitiless Plunderer, and go-wide combat aided by The Master, Multiplied and myriad. Deadpool is a flexible value engine and political tool rather than a hard combo piece, so the deck still functions when he is answered, but loses its unique text-swap lines and a recurring source of chaos.
