Deck overview

This is an Esper life-gain control deck helmed by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, whose command-zone upkeep trigger passively pads life while his on-board ability converts every life gain into card draw and table-wide drain. The primary win is the classic infinite drain loop: pair a "you gain life when opponents lose life" piece (Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror) with any "opponents lose life when you gain life" piece (Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, Marauding Blight-Priest, Starscape Cleric, Vizkopa Guildmage). The deck backs this with a dense control shell - six counterspells, two board wipes, pillowfort pieces, and life-doubling effects - plus three alternate life-total wins (Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, Aetherflux Reservoir). It plays a patient, draw-go game, accumulating life and cards until the loop assembles.
