Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and combo strategy led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The deck uses cheap recurring creatures such as Bloodghast, Forsaken Miner, and Reassembling Skeleton to fuel Sephiroth's attack and sacrifice triggers, steadily drawing cards while draining opponents. It exerts strong board control using sacrifice edicts like Dictate of Erebos, Accursed Marauder, and Tergrid, God of Fright to clear opposing creatures and steal resources. The deck transitions into a lethal finish around Turn 6 by executing an infinite drain loop with Exquisite Blood and Marauding Blight-Priest or Enduring Tenacity, or by overwhelming the table with death triggers from Tombstone Stairwell and Bolas's Citadel.
