Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon Tribal Stompy strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the Eminence ability to discount all Dragon spells by one generic mana directly from the command zone. In the early turns, the deck uses efficient ramp and fast artifacts to fix its five-color mana base. By Turn 4, it deploys key enablers like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Temur Ascendancy, or Rivaz of the Claw. On Turn 5, it transitions into critical pressure with explosive plays like Hellkite Courser to cheat out The Ur-Dragon, drawing cards and deploying free permanents on attack. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through massive evasive aerial combat combined with direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas. It protects its high-value board with efficient defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection, while breaking parity with asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate.
