Deck overview

This Rakdos Dragon deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Haunted One to generate continuous mana velocity and board resilience. The strategy centers on accelerating into Ganax, Astral Hunter by Turn 4, using early cost-reducers and mana rocks to immediately start producing Treasure tokens whenever a Dragon enters the battlefield. Haunted One turns Ganax into a tribal lord: whenever Ganax taps to attack or activate a mana utility like Relic of Legends or Springleaf Drum, all Dragons gain +2/+0 and undying until end of turn. This allows your flying beaters to trade aggressively and survive traditional board wipes. The midgame converts mana advantage into overwhelming board presence with heavy hitters like Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen, while cards like Crux of Fate act as one-sided wipes. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through massive aerial damage, token swarms, and direct ETB burn.
