Alela v8 by Ilnerval

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Dimir Faerie tempo-control deck, led by Alela, Cunning Conqueror, combines a flash-heavy tribal core with a compact two-card combo finish. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap interactive spells on opponents' turns-triggering Alela to create flying Faerie tokens-while using her goad ability to keep opposing creatures pointed away from you. The deck maintains overwhelming stack dominance through 15 counterspells (6 of which are free), deep instant-speed removal, and a suite of premium draw engines (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, The One Ring). When the board is controlled, it assembles the Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation combo to win on the spot. A secondary combat path leverages token generation, life-drain from Obyra, Dreaming Duelist and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and lords like Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor to close out games through pressure.
