Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hazel of the Rootbloom heads a Golgari token engine that converts wide boards of Squirrels, Foods, and Treasures into massive mana and card velocity. The primary plan leverages early token generation to fuel Hazel, creating double copies of key Squirrels every end step and producing mana from tapped tokens. The deck wins either by chaining into lethal combat overruns using Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Beastmaster Ascension, or by executing infinite token and damage loops involving Ivy Lane Denizen with Scurry Oak, or Warren Soultrader and Chatterfang, Squirrel General with drain engines.
