Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Liliana-themed control and reanimation strategy. It leverages Liliana, Heretical Healer alongside a host of other Liliana planeswalkers to control the board via sacrifice edicts and targeted removal. Early turns focus on establishing mana, casting cheap utility creatures, and transforming the commander to begin ticking up loyalty and grinding card advantage through discard. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from attrition into overwhelming board presence, utilizing mass reanimation spells like Command the Dreadhorde, Rise of the Dark Realms, and planeswalker ultimate abilities to fill the board with opposing and personal threats. While it excels at punishing creature-based strategies and slowly draining hand sizes, it intentionally embraces stylistic and thematic constraints over hyper-efficient competitive options.
