Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black storm and reanimator strategy built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. K'rrik turns your life total into a versatile mana reservoir by converting black mana symbols into payments of two life. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana rocks and rituals, deploying K'rrik on turn 4. Once K'rrik is on the battlefield, the deck leverages high-impact draw engines like Vilis, Broker of Blood and targeted tutors such as Final Parting to assemble its primary win conditions. The main victory line pairs Aetherflux Reservoir with Leshrac's Sigil, casting and returning the enchantment repeatedly to generate unlimited life and eliminate all three opponents with 50-damage activations on turn 5. Secondary routes use reanimation loops with Chainer, Dementia Master and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While the deck has high explosive potential and efficient creature removal, it has clear vulnerabilities to instant-speed creature removal, graveyard hate, and noncreature permanents.
