Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Shelob, Child of Ungoliant to convert deathtouch combat and fight spells into an asymmetric removal and card advantage engine. By equipping Shelob or other Spiders with lure effects like Nemesis Mask or casting multi-target fight spells like Spinning Wheel Kick, the deck wipes opposing creature boards while creating Food token copies of destroyed threats. A dense early ramp package of 11 low-cost accelerators ensures Shelob enters reliably on turn 5. Once the board is cleared, the deck closes the game on turn 8 by converting Food tokens into 7/7 Dinosaurs via Displaced Dinosaurs or executing a team overrun with Night of the Sweets' Revenge. Strong protection options like Heroic Intervention, Swarmyard, and Darksteel Plate help keep Shelob on the battlefield.
