Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Izzet coin-flip and chaos strategy led by Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Yusri early, equipping lifelink tools like Basilisk Collar and Shadowspear to turn Yusri's self-inflicted damage into life gain, and attacking each turn to draw massive card volume. Artifact tutors find Krark's Thumb to tilt coin-flip odds heavily in your favor, increasing the likelihood of hitting Yusri's five-flip trigger to cast entire hands for free. Win conditions scale through Okaun, Eye of Chaos, which doubles its power exponentially on consecutive flip wins to eliminate players with lethal commander damage, and Chance Encounter, which wins on upkeep after ten flip victories. Symmetrical chaos spells like Possibility Storm, Planar Chaos, and Grip of Chaos disrupt opposing strategies by randomizing targets and spell resolution while your coin engines thrive.
