Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Rakdos stompy deck led by Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The core game plan establishes an early life-loss enabler on turns 1 through 3 to fulfill the commander's casting restriction on turn 4. Once Rakdos is deployed, his passive ability turns subsequent combat and burn damage into massive generic mana reductions. On turn 5, connecting with Rakdos discounts high-cost colorless and Demon payoffs by six or more mana, allowing players to cheat titans such as Blightsteel Colossus, Ulamog, the Defiler, Archfiend of Despair, and It That Betrays into play in the second main phase. The deck generates card advantage through aggressive card-draw engines and massive refill creatures like Knollspine Dragon. Opponents face an escalating combat clock that eliminates the table within two turn cycles through annihilator triggers, doubled damage, and lethal infect attacks.
