Deck overview

This is a premium Izzet draw-go control and spellslinger list helmed by Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The game plan is to develop cheap rocks and cost reducers, land an uncounterable Niv, then convert every instant and sorcery into card advantage and direct damage. Primary wins are infinite damage loops pairing a draw-damage Niv with Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, backed by a grinding burn package of Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, Fiery Inscription, and Urabrask // The Great Work. A deep counter suite (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Mana Drain, Pact of Negation) protects the engine and polices the table while cantrips and engines like Archmage Emeritus and Rhystic Study refuel. The deck plays reactive control until it finds a clean kill window, then ends the game with chained draws and noncombat damage.
