Smaug by TevalorNothing

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Smaug the Magnificent helms a mono-red Dragon stompy and artifact burn deck designed to convert accumulated Treasure tokens into overwhelming damage. In the early turns, cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and treasure-generating creatures establish a fast mana foundation. Smaug provides immediate pressure with haste, turning your growing hoard of artifacts into targeted direct damage on every attack. The deck closes games through multiple overlapping avenues: pumping Hellkite Igniter for massive lethal flying strikes, overwhelming the board with Dragon tokens from Lathliss, Dragon Queen, burning the entire table with Scourge of Valkas triggers, or funneling vast Treasure mana into a lethal Crackle with Power.
