Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Selesnya +1/+1 counters and token midrange strategy led by Black Panther, Wakandan King. It accelerates rapidly using low-cost mana dorks and land ramp to establish early board presence. The deck converts creature entries into stored +1/+1 counters on lands via Black Panther's Survey the Realm ability, then moves those counters onto key threats using Mine Vibranium to draw cards and gain life. It scales into the midgame with powerful counter multipliers like Branching Evolution, Cathars' Crusade, and Kalonian Hydra, while securing combat damage through evasion granters like Abzan Falconer, Kodama of the West Tree, and Garruk's Uprising. The deck also harbors an infinite token and mana combo with Basking Broodscale and Cathars' Crusade. It defends its advancing board state with an extensive suite of low-cost instant protection spells including Heroic Intervention, Flawless Maneuver, and Dawn's Truce, closing out the table across turns 5 to 7.
