Clad in darkness by user3312496

Format: Commander

Commander: Syr Konrad, the Grim

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Syr Konrad, the Grim commands a mono-black deck that blends self-mill, sacrifice engines, and group damage. The deck operates by dumping creature cards into graveyards through dredge, mill artifacts, and sacrifice outlets, triggering Syr Konrad to drain all opponents simultaneously. Secondary engines like Mindcrank and The Master of Lake-town accelerate this process by turning any damage dealt into additional mill, often creating devastating chain reactions. For explosive finishes, the deck leverages Bolas's Citadel to storm through the library, reanimates devastating threats like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or loops creatures through Tortured Existence with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth.
