Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elfball combo deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, whose first ability - gaining every activated ability of Elf cards in the graveyard - turns him into a one-card Swiss Army knife: a mana dork, a drain engine, and an overrun all at once. His second ability draws two cards whenever another legendary Elf enters, turning the deck's 11 legendary Elves into a refueling engine. The primary plan floods the board with Elf mana dorks, bins key Elves (Devoted Druid, Priest of Titania) to the graveyard via Buried Alive or Survival of the Fittest, and assembles infinite mana through Thranduil's stolen abilities plus Flourishing Defenses, then wins with Walking Ballista, Torment of Hailfire, or Staff of Domination. Secondary wins include Craterhoof Behemoth overruns, Lathril, Blade of the Elves drain, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord flings.
