The Hordes of Gondor by LeoMahnnen

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, the Uniter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Human tribal build helmed by Aragorn, the Uniter, leveraging his multicolored-spell triggers to generate tokens, scry, burn, and pump. The primary game plan is to flood the board with Human tokens and lords, then crack through opponents with mass pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede, Shared Animosity, and Jetmir, Nexus of Revels. It wins through overwhelming combat damage, often with trample and double strike, rather than infinite combos. The deck uses a robust ramp package (Nature's Lore, Farseek, mana dorks) to cast Aragorn and other multicolored spells quickly, while a suite of Human-payoff creatures (Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Eowyn, Shieldmaiden) provide exponential growth and card advantage. Interaction is a mix of efficient removal and a handful of hard counterspells, with strong protection pieces like Boros Charm and Clever Concealment. It is a straightforward but resilient mid-range strategy that can rebuild quickly after board wipes through token generators and recursion.
