Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Chulane, Teller of Tales, functioning as a creature-centric engine that converts creature casts into rapid card draw and explosive land acceleration. Early turns focus on mana dorks and low-cost ramp spells to deploy Chulane ahead of schedule on Turn 4. Once Chulane is active, self-bouncing creatures like Shrieking Drake, Whitemane Lion, and Dream Stalker cycle repeatedly through the hand, drawing deep into the library while dumping excess lands directly onto the battlefield. This massive resource velocity quickly transitions into overwhelming win conditions by Turn 6, utilizing landfall swarm generators like Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, and Rampaging Baloths, bolstered by anthem effects such as Beastmaster Ascension and March of the World Ooze. The list also packs interactive creature counterspells and a late-game soft lock in Tidespout Tyrant to control the board while closing games across combat steps.
