Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Boros aggressive midrange and combo list commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan focuses on deploying low-cost Dwarf creatures and fast mana rocks in the early turns, establishing Thorin on Turn 4 to convert every subsequent Dwarf into Treasure tokens and massive power buffs. The deck converts accumulated Treasure tokens into lethal combat overruns using Akroma's Will and Sundering Eruption on Turn 5 or 6. In parallel, it houses compact combo win conditions through Magda, Brazen Outlaw artifact tutoring and the classic Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame sequence. A dedicated suite of efficient protection spells like Boros Charm, Deflecting Swat, and Boromir, Warden of the Tower shields key permanents, while card engines like The One Ring and Trouble in Pairs sustain resources across turn cycles.
