Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Glarb, Calamity's Augur and operates as a hybrid graveyard reanimator, landfall, and attrition engine. The deck ramps during the early turns to deploy Glarb, using surveil and tutors like Entomb and Vile Entomber to fill the graveyard with devastating high-cost threats. On turns 4 to 5, cheap reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead cheat out oppressive creatures such as Toxrill, the Corrosive, Maha, Its Feathers Night, or Avenger of Zendikar. Asymmetric board suppression continuously destroys opposing creatures while wide token swarms close the game over two combat cycles. The deck features robust recovery through engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Conduit of Worlds, ensuring long-term resilience even if initial threats are removed.
