Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron and midrange spellslinger strategy led by partner commanders Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The game plan revolves around rapidly ramping into Pako on Turn 4, whose native haste and attack trigger immediately begin exiling the top card of every player's library while swelling Pako with +1/+1 counters. On Turn 5, deploying Haldan turns the exiled noncreature cards and lands into an expansive virtual hand, fueling uninterrupted land drops and spell velocity. The deck supports Pako with a dense package of low-mana protection instants, auras, and evasion effects like Canopy Cover, Gaea's Gift, and Aqueous Form. Rather than assembling infinite combos, the deck applies escalating combat pressure, eliminating opponents one by one through 21 commander damage. While vulnerable to forced sacrifice and repeated commander removal, Pako's rapid scaling and massive card advantage engine consistently overwhelm standard multiplayer tables.
