Deck overview

This Azorius deck focuses on combat efficiency and artifact synergy under Kotori, Pilot Prodigy. Kotori's static ability reduces all crew costs to crew 2, allowing undercosted, massive Vehicles like Consulate Dreadnought and Shorikai, Genesis Engine to attack years ahead of their normal requirements. Kotori's combat trigger grants lifelink and vigilance to an artifact creature every turn, creating massive life buffers while retaining defensive blockers. Fast mana rocks accelerate early deployment, while token generators such as Sai, Master Thopterist and Prodigy's Prototype ensure a continuous supply of pilots. The deck leverages Vehicles' natural resilience against sorcery-speed creature board wipes and protects its investments using free counterspells, Teferi's Protection, and Padeem, Consul of Innovation. Opponents face relentless midgame combat pressure from flying and trample threats like Parhelion II and Cybership, culminating in decisive combat steps cleared by Cyclonic Rift.
