Deck overview

This deck turns Norin the Wary into a relentless burn engine. Because Norin exiles himself whenever any player casts a spell or attacks and returns at the beginning of the next end step, he triggers enter-the-battlefield abilities up to four times per turn cycle. The deck leverages this unique trait by deploying dense, redundant damage dealers such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator, which chip away at all opponents simultaneously without requiring combat. Token generators like Genesis Chamber double this trigger output, while damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Fiery Emancipation accelerate the clock exponentially. Interactive spells like Deflecting Swat and Confusion in the Ranks exploit Norin's constant flickering to redirect threats or permanently steal opposing creatures. The deck maintains high resilience because Norin inherently evades almost all removal, allowing the engine to steadily drain the entire table.
