Vivi by Kalhen

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is a one-card storm engine: every noncreature spell she sees puts a +1/+1 counter on her, pings each opponent, and her {0} activation converts that power into red and blue mana. This is an Izzet spellslinger deck that spends the first few turns filtering with cheap cantrips, lands Vivi on turn three, then executes a single explosive turn where Vivi's mana funds a long chain of instants and sorceries. Trigger doublers like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Roaming Throne, and Wizard's Staff multiply both the counters and the damage, while Aetherflux Reservoir, Grapeshot, and Epic Experiment are the primary finishers. Backup paths include a giant unblockable Vivi via Bria, Riptide Rogue or Slip Through Space, plus burn from Gandalf, Goblins' Bane and Fire Magic. The deck is fast, mana-efficient, and highly interactive, but it is a fragile engine: remove Vivi and the whole plan slows dramatically.
