Scouring of Your Library by Boralin

Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman of Many Colors

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper mill-control deck helmed by Saruman of Many Colors. The plan is to tax and counter the table while flooding graveyards, then convert that mill into free stolen spells via Saruman's second-spell trigger and into outright library kills through Bruvac the Grandiloquent, The Water Crystal, and mass-mill payoffs. Secondary axes include Bloodchief Ascension drain once quest counters are online and opportunistic combat from a pumped Haughty Djinn or myriad Wizards of Thay. The deck plays as classic draw-go control: hold up interaction, cast two spells on your turn (or flash them with Borne Upon a Wind / Wizards of Thay), and either empty libraries or cast the table's best instants and sorceries for free. Saruman is a powerful value engine but is not required for the mill finishes living in the 99.
