Phyrexian Hordes by Trunk_Monkey

Format: Commander

Commander: Valko Indorian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Phyrexian tribal battle cruiser helmed by Valko Indorian, whose Rulebreaker ability permits the inclusion of any Phyrexian cards and basic lands while granting all Phyrexian creatures menace and lifelink. The deck's primary game plan is to deploy a parade of high-impact Phyrexian praetors and value creatures, gradually accruing advantage through proliferate, recursion, and the commander's combat bonuses. Win conditions are mostly combat-oriented: poison counters from Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Venerated Rotpriest, massive damage from Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or grinding the table down with Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Massacre Wurm. The list also includes a single infinite combo (not visible in the deck list) but relies primarily on raw board presence and inevitability rather than fast assembly.
