Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats engine helmed by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. It focuses on accumulating incremental life advantages while draining opponents with every creature entry and death. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost token generators like Ophiomancer, Skrelv's Hive, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, pairing them with free sacrifice outlets to feed continuous death triggers. As the game develops into the mid-turns, high-impact multipliers such as Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, Thalisse, Reverent Medium, and Archfiend of Despair convert token volume into lethal table-wide life loss. The list features strong creature and permanent removal, resilience against destroy wipes via Flawless Maneuver and Grand Crescendo, and extensive functional redundancy throughout the 99 to maintain pressure even if key pieces are disrupted.
