Deck overview

This deck leverages Animar, Soul of Elements to dramatically accelerate Eldrazi creature spells. By casting low-cost Eldrazi drones, the deck simultaneously accumulates +1/+1 counters on Animar and generates Eldrazi Spawn and Scion tokens. These tokens provide flexible colorless mana acceleration, fodder for Skullclamp, and fuel for blink engines like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling. By Turn 5, Animar's cost reduction enables casting titanic threats including Void Winnower, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth for minimal mana. The on-cast triggers of these titans strip opposing permanents and refill the hand even if countered. Animar's natural protection from white and black dodges standard removal, while cheap blink spells and Eldritch Immunity guard against other colors. The deck closes games via overwhelming Annihilator combat damage, token burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge, or an infinite mana and counter loop between Basking Broodscale and Blade of the Bloodchief.
