Commander: Veyran, Voice of Duality

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a lean Izzet spellslinger deck built around Veyran, Voice of Duality, whose Magecraft doubling turns every instant and sorcery into two triggers. With a 2.22 average mana value and over twenty cantrips, the plan is to accelerate into Veyran plus one or two Magecraft engines, then run a single explosive spell-chain turn. The primary kill is Sorcerer Class at level 3 - its pings are doubled by Veyran and scale with the turn's spell count - backed by Chandra's Ignition on an enormous Veyran and a hasted Stormsplitter token swarm. Mana comes from rituals (Mana Geyser, Pyretic Ritual) and red-mana engines (Birgi, God of Storytelling, Electro, Assaulting Battery), while Past in Flames and Mizzix's Mastery let the deck recast its whole graveyard. The deck is fast and densely synergistic, but very light on tutors and interaction.
