Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Artifact Voltron strategy centered on Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. In the early turns, the deck deploys low-cost ramp and utilizes Tony Stark's activated ability to dig four cards deep for premier artifacts and Equipment. On Turn 5, paying six mana transforms him into The Invincible Iron Man, an aggressive 5/5 flyer with haste that cheats an artifact from hand directly into play at the beginning of combat. By dropping heavy Equipment such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Genji Glove, or Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor attached for free, Iron Man immediately threatens lethal commander damage. The deck defends its board with an efficient counterspell suite and Padeem, Consul of Innovation, while leveraging alternate artifact payoffs like Master Transmuter and War Machine, Avenging Arsenal if the commander is removed. It closes games by eliminating opponents sequentially across three combat steps.
