Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns your graveyard into a toolbox: every Elf in the bin grants him activated abilities, making him a resilient mana engine, reanimation outlet, and finisher all in one. This deck's primary plan is to flood the board with Elf tokens and lords while self-milling to stock the graveyard. Secondary paths include reanimator beats via Victimize or Bloodline Bidding, and a compact combo of Devoted Druid plus Haldir and Immaculate Magistrate to produce arbitrarily large threats. Maralen, Fae Ascendant offers a pseudo-combo by exiling cards and casting them for free once you have enough Elves. The deck is commander-centric: Thranduil's ability to use abilities from the graveyard is unique, but the Elf-token subtheme and many lords still function without him to a moderate degree.
