Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Bear Tribal Stompy list piloted by Beorn the Fierce. It leverages an efficient 1-to-2 CMC ramp suite (Birds of Paradise, Llanowar Elves, Three Visits, Sol Ring) to accelerate into early board presence before casting Beorn on Turn 4. Beorn provides an immediate +2 net card engine every combat step once three Bears are assembled, turning non-Bear creatures into trampling Bears while anthem-buffing the tribe by +2/+2. The deck converts this massive card and mana velocity into a lethal clock on Turn 5, leveraging explosive finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Return of the Wildspeaker to deal lethal combat damage across all opponents by Turn 6. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and possessing minimal reactive interaction, its extreme draw velocity, resilient high-toughness threats, and robust commander independence allow it to recover rapidly and consistently overwhelm the pod through pure combat power.
