Deck overview

This is a fast, tutor-dense Esper combo-control deck helmed by Marneus Calgar. The core plan is to assemble a compact mana engine - most efficiently Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, or Basalt Monolith + Power Artifact - and convert it into a deck-thinning Thassa's Oracle win via Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Marneus Calgar functions as a secondary draw engine and an alternate infinite-token outlet: once infinite mana is online, his Chapter Master ability creates endless 2/2 tokens, and each token trigger draws cards. The deck backs this with a near-cEDH-grade suite of free counterspells, Silence effects, and premium tutors, while Necropotence and Ad Nauseam provide massive burst card advantage. It is a glass-cannon combo deck with exceptional consistency and stack protection, less concerned with combat than with ending the game through consultation-style lines.
