Deck overview

This Mono-Red Chaos Exile Spellslinger deck is commanded by Plargg and Nassari, focusing on stealing and casting nonland spells from all four libraries each upkeep. Built with dense mana ramp—including over a dozen low-cost artifacts and red rituals—it reliably curves into its commander on Turn 4 and activates its impulse engine on Turn 5. The deck leans heavily into chaotic card-advantage effects such as Wand of Wonder, Creative Technique, and Dance with Calamity, generating immense mana cheating and compounding board presence by Turn 6. However, the list deliberately eschews infinite combos, extra-turn spells, and nonland tutors, relying entirely on natural draws and opponent deck contents. Its path to victory depends on grinding combat damage with mid-sized creatures and alien tokens from Iraxxa, Empress of Mars. With zero dedicated protection spells and high reliance on an unshielded five-mana commander, the deck thrives in casual multiplayer environments where high variance and table-wide chaos create unpredictable, exciting game states.
