Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic tempo aggro strategy commanded by Edric, Spymaster of Trest. It aims to flood the board with cheap, evasive 1- and 2-mana creatures such as Faerie Miscreant, Vaporkin, and Kitesail Corsair before casting Edric on Turn 3. Connecting in combat converts small evasive attackers into recurring card draw, rapidly refueling the hand. The deck uses this card velocity to overwhelm opponents with board presence, scaling threats like Nadir Kraken and Oneirophage, and game-ending team buffs including Overrun and End-Raze Forerunners. Interaction consists of efficient countermagic and bounce spells to disrupt high-impact opposing plays and safeguard the board.
