Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf-ball deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a draw engine and graveyard toolbox. The primary plan is to accelerate with cheap Elf druids, cast Thranduil, then use his ability to borrow activated abilities from Entombed Elves (Lathril, Ezuri, Immaculate Magistrate) while the legendary-Elf trigger keeps the hand full. Secondary wins come from infinite-color-mana loops with Bloom Tender/Freed from the Real, converted by Staff of Domination or Exsanguinate, and from Natural Order into Craterhoof Behemoth. Eladamri, Korvecdal and Realmwalker serve as backup engines. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the deck is a fast combo-aggressive hybrid that can pivot between one explosive untap turn and a wide token kill.
