Deck overview

The deck uses Witch-king of Angmar as a sacrifice-oriented commander while building a broader mono-black graveyard and aristocrats engine. Small creatures from Bitterblossom, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, and Black Market Connections provide sacrifice material. Grave Pact, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, The Meathook Massacre, and Syr Konrad, the Grim turn deaths into pressure. Tutors and reanimation support large threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The fastest reliable finish is the Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose plus Exquisite Blood loop, but it needs a separate initial life-loss event and is normally assembled late. Bolas's Citadel, Cabal Coffers, and Crypt Ghast provide a strong late-game ceiling, although the deck has limited stack interaction and protection. It is best suited to slower general-power Commander tables.
