Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages Ghalta and Mavren at the helm to convert high-power creatures and token swarms into overwhelming combat pressure. The game plan focuses on ramping during the opening turns, deploying substantial mid-game threats such as Gigantosaurus and Silk, Web Weaver, and casting the commander to generate massive Dinosaur tokens with trample or wide Vampire armies on attack. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through accumulated trample combat damage and overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede. Its resource velocity is steady, backed by high-ceiling card draw spells such as Rishkar's Expertise and Shamanic Revelation. While the deck possesses explosive board-building capability, it is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and relies on natural draws for its interaction and protection suite.
