Aragorn, Hornburg Hero | +1/+1 counters & double strike by user7723657

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, Hornburg Hero

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Broadly an aggressive +1/+1 counter deck built around Aragorn, Hornburg Hero. The plan is to make Aragorn renowned on the first profitable attack, then use counter doublers (Halana and Alena, Byrke, Hardened Scales) and double-strike equipment to double his counters twice per combat. Aurelia, the Warleader supplies an extra combat to point that massive commander damage at a second opponent in the same turn. A secondary beatdown path uses huge hydras, trample, and Zetalpa. There is no hidden commander; the list is tuned for Aragorn's renown-and-double ability, with the other legends supporting the counter theme.
