Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck centers on Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing, turning library-tuck effects into an evasive token army. The primary game plan uses over twenty-five redundant tuck spells, counterspells, and self-shuffling draw spells to trigger Wan Shi Tong repeatedly. Each tuck event puts two 1/1 Spirit tokens onto the battlefield that cannot be blocked by non-Spirit creatures. The deck develops on curve with two-mana mana rocks and early utility creatures, deploying Wan Shi Tong by Turn 4 or 5. Once assembled, instant-speed tuck removal like Bury in Books and Commit // Memory disrupts opposing threats while expanding the Spirit board. Repeatable engines like Tolarian Contempt and Dutiful Knowledge Seeker provide steady attrition. Combat card-draw engines such as Bident of Thassa and Curiosity Crafter convert unblockable attacks into card advantage. Because the deck wins through incremental combat damage over four or more response cycles, it relies on countermagic, blink spells, and tap engines like Shacklegeist to protect its board and survive opposing sweepers.
