Deck overview

This Bant deck is built around accumulating, doubling, and transferring +1/+1 counters to overwhelm opponents through massive combat damage or alternate win conditions. Commanded by Yuna, Grand Summoner, the deck leverages her mana acceleration and passive counter distribution to turn every creature cast into a large threat, while ensuring that any dying modified permanent redistributes its power across surviving creatures. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC ramp spells and low-cost counter enablers such as Managorger Hydra and Brokers Ascendancy. By Turn 4 or 5, scaling threats like Kalonian Hydra and Forgotten Ancient hit the battlefield, doubling power and pushing through defenses with trample or evasion. A dense suite of 1- and 2-mana protection spells shields the board against destruction, while low-cost counterspells keep dangerous opponent plays in check. The deck reliably closes out games across Turns 6 and 7 using overwhelming combat steps powered by Akroma's Will or by reaching 20 counters on Simic Ascendancy.
