Dethrone by DanDar52

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose commands a combat-focused aristocrats deck that abuses dethrone and plus one counters to grant repeated recursion. By attacking opponents with the highest life total or using internal counter enablers like Unspeakable Symbol, your creatures gain counters that Marchesa turns into end-step resurrection insurance whenever they die. You win by converting recursive loops and counters into lethal burn and overwhelming combat damage through cards like Flayer of the Hatebound, All Will Be One, Uncivil Unrest, and Scourge of the Throne. Symmetrical board wipes also act as one-sided win conditions while Marchesa protects your board.
