Deck overview

Marneus Calgar leads an Esper token-engine deck that turns token creation into cards, then converts those cards into a large army or an infinite loop. The primary plan is to cast Marneus early, multiply token production with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Ojer Taq, and Elspeth, then win through a pumped combat step. Secondary paths use Ashnod's Altar and Pitiless Plunderer to turn the commander's activated ability into a mana-positive draw engine. The commander is the draw and combo pivot, though the deck can still play a midrange token game without him. There is no hidden commander; Marneus is the only real engine and payoff.
