Nekusar Draw Burn by michaelwynn34

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis wheels-and-punisher deck helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer, built to force opponents to draw cards and convert every draw into damage. Nekusar's draw-step trigger plus a dense wheel suite - Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Timetwister, Winds of Change, Molten Psyche, Memory Jar, Wheel and Deal, Jace's Archivist - makes each opponent draw seven at a time, while punishers like Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Spiteful Visions, Kederekt Parasite, and Razorkin Needlehead stack damage on every single draw. Damage multipliers Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Harmonic Prodigy, and Roaming Throne turn the pings into lethal bursts. The deck wins through repeated wheel-punisher value rather than infinite combos, protected by a free-spell counterspell suite. It is a fast, redundant, inevitability-driven burn deck that punishes the table for playing Magic.
