Deck overview

Captain America, Team Leader leads a Jeskai Hero tribal combat deck. The commander rewards every additional Hero by granting haste and vigilance and adding counters to both the new Hero and the commander. Danny Pink, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, Folk Hero, and attack-triggered draw effects turn those creatures into continuing card flow. Mana rocks and Herald's Horn help cast the mostly expensive Heroes, while Director Nick Fury and Avengers Tower improve creature access. The deck's payoff is a wide modified board, usually enhanced by War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Firebird, Blazing Ranger, Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger, or Akroma's Will. Its ordinary clock is slower than a combo deck: assembly is around turn 7, the first decisive attack around turn 9, and the full combat finish around turn 11. It has solid creature protection and sweepers, but no infinite combo, hard lock, or dense stack interaction package.
