Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Gorion, Wise Mentor, focusing on maximizing the value of the Adventure mechanic. By duplicating every Adventure instant and sorcery cast, Gorion effectively doubles ramp, card draw, removal, and token creation. The deck boasts extreme land consistency by utilizing a deep suite of Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDFCs) alongside traditional lands. Once the engine is online, cards like Edgewall Innkeeper, Vega, the Watcher, and Storyteller Pixie convert adventure casts into massive card advantage. The deck converts this resource superiority into a game win by producing large swarms of tokens via Flaxen Intruder // Welcome Home and Horn of Valhalla // Ysgard's Call, pumping them with Virtue of Loyalty or Makindi Stampede, and overwhelming the table over two decisive combat turns.
