Commander: Vial Smasher the Fierce and Kraum, Ludevic's Opus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis burn and punishment deck pairs Vial Smasher the Fierce with Kraum, Ludevic's Opus to pressure opponent life totals while continuously refilling your hand. The game plan focuses on establishing early group-slug permanents and deploying commanders to punish standard game actions such as casting spells, drawing cards, and taking turns. You drain the table through burn damage amplified by damage multipliers like Dictate of the Twin Gods and Obosh, the Preypiercer. The deck closes games through massive end-step life loss doublers like Wound Reflection and Archfiend of Despair, burst finishers like Insurrection, or high-cost spells triggered via Vial Smasher.
