Rising from the Grave by TheGoofOne

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale pilots a Sultai self-mill and land-recursion strategy. The deck fills its graveyard with creatures and lands, then uses Teval's attack trigger and leave-the-graveyard payoffs to generate Zombie Druid tokens, recur lands, and chain value. The primary finish is a repeatable mill loop with Altar of Dementia, Gravecrawler, and Kheru Goldkeeper; secondary wins come from Syr Konrad's drain, Ob Nixilis landfall, and a wide Zombie army. The commander is not an all-in engine; Tormod, Sidisi, and Muldrotha provide redundant self-mill and token production. The plan is resilient through multiple recursion spells, but it remains a graveyard-first deck that is vulnerable to graveyard hate.
