Deck overview

This deck is an optimized five-color Eldrazi midrange and token swarm strategy commanded by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. It leverages explosive fast mana and color fixing to deploy Azlask alongside efficient Eldrazi Spawn and Scion producers like Catacomb Sifter, Awakening Zone, and Glaring Fleshraker. By sacrificing colorless tokens for mana, card draw via Skullclamp, and utility, the deck rapidly accumulates experience counters on the player. Once a critical mass of counters is reached, activating Azlask's five-color ability grants the entire board massive stat buffs, indestructible, and Annihilator 1, executing a devastating combat finish. Backed by format-ceiling free countermagic, silence effects like Grand Abolisher, and powerful card engines like Rhystic Study and The One Ring, the deck aggressively protects its development. In addition to its primary combat overrun strategy, the list features an infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument to power Eldrazi Displacer loops.
